AJM Packaging Corporation is seeking to hire additional Quality Control Lead. This position will be responsible for working alongside our Production team, enforcing and maintaining high product quality standards and serving as a resource to our Production Shift Supervisors.

• Verify that each department inspection is accurately completed by the responsible employee
• Confirm that the correct quality documentation is being filled out
• Responsibilities will also consist of authentication for all changeovers for all machines
• Must have the ability to execute the following quality inspections for each department: Perform Hot Oil testing on plates and Hot Water testing on bowls
• Perform rigidity testing on plates and bowls
• Confirm print color match and registration on product and packaging
• Perform board caliper verification and Kraft paper basis weight testing
• Perform cup leak testing
• Accurately perform ink rub testing on designer plates and cups
• Complete the Handle Sack adhesion and pull testing on handle bags
• Verify bag glue location, amount and bag quality
• Understand the steps needed to follow when undesirable quality conditions exist during production and when the inspection follow up will occur
• Understand and have the ability to identify and isolate non-conforming product utilizing the quarantine process and assist with any quality hold product inspections needed
• Authenticate quality of incoming materials
• Final Inspection spot Audit of Finished Goods including product packaging
• Complete all other duties the Supervisor deems necessary

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, but less than high school education is acceptable
• 2+ years of experience with Quality systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in running manufacturing equipment
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Consumer product manufacturing experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Ability to perform all physical components of the position, with reasonable accommodation if required
