AJM Packaging Corporation is a leading manufacturer of branded and private label paper products including plates, bowls, cups, and bags. As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are looking for a Quality Inspector to add to our Machine Shop in Detroit, MI.

• Perform measurements of Manufactured components to verify manufacturing specifications have been met
• Work with Engineers to establish design tolerances
• Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
• Final and in process inspection of components, and prototype parts using CMM and various gauges as required
• Review drawing details for accurate documentation of specifications
• Maintains calibration of gages

• Five (5) + years of experience working in a precision manufacturing environment operating measuring equipment
• Ability to read blue prints and understand product specifications and requirements
• Ability to measure close tolerances
